About Us
How it all started...
I was helping out with Toys for Tots and I was wearing a hat from my son's soccer club. I met CK, the morning drive DJ at B95. He asked me if I was involved in soccer and we got to talking. He mentioned that he was interested in doing something special for Toys for Tots to help children that may not get a gift at Christmas. CK said that a DJ in Las Vegas slept on the roof of the radio station and collected money to buy bicycles for children.
I told CK that we should camp out for 24 hours in front of Toys R Us and broadcast live while collecting toys.
So we did it!
We did the camp out for three years straight until 2019 due to Covid-19 and collected thousands of toys for valley kids.
When you spend 24 hours with someone in the freezing cold, you get to know about them and it turned out that CK and I both love soccer. Both of his daughters played competitively and so did my children so we had similar experiences and sense of humor.
Throughout the years, he helped me put on job fairs, food distributions, and other community benefits projects with United Way of Fresno and Madera Counties. I told him that when his daughters were ready to start the recruitment process, I would be happy to help him create a recruitment video for them.
CK came over one day and we worked on a recruitment video for his daughter and she got several D1 offers. Don't get me wrong, she is a baller. We really didn't know what we were doing but we liked the finished product and do did the coaches that gave her a scholarship.
It was cool and I knew CK's next daughter would be graduating soon so I started checking out how others got recruited, I started reading about it and joining online groups about recruitment.
When it was time for CK's next daughter, CK again came over with a mess of unorganized clips and we got to work.
Lightning stuck again and his daughter got a scholarship to play at Alabama.
But lightning didn't strike twice, the valley is deep in talent but we are often overlooked because schools just don't have the resources to get out to the valley and many great athletes don't have the money to pay a recruiting service.
So here we are and now so are you
